Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Assembly Mechanic III for a client company specializing in aerospace. Starting pay is $20.24 - $28.00 per hour. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift working Monday - Friday.
The Assembly Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for producing prototypes and complex components, establishing manufacturing processes, and mentoring other mechanics. This position plays a key role in bonding and fabrication of complex aircraft furniture and supports continuous improvement and operational decisions.

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Assembly Mechanic III for a client company specializing in aerospace. Starting pay is $20.24 - $28.00 per hour. This is a full-time, permanent position on the day shift working Monday - Friday.
The Assembly Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for producing prototypes and complex components, establishing manufacturing processes, and mentoring other mechanics. This position plays a key role in bonding and fabrication of complex aircraft furniture and supports continuous improvement and operational decisions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Build and bond complex furniture, test articles, and major interior assemblies
- Train and mentor junior assembly mechanics
- Fabricate jigs and fixtures for precision component fitting
- Perform complex repairs and apply specialized finishes
- Operate and maintain a wide range of shop equipment and tools
- Support make/buy decisions and lead process improvements
- Interpret and execute electrical and structural part drawings
- Establish standard operating procedures for the work center
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience interpreting and executing aerospace part drawings
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work from solid models, technical drawings, and engineering sketches
- Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a standard machine shop environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet vision/hearing requirements for safe manufacturing floor conduct
